;Matthew Solomon, Psy.D., is President of the Lifespan Learning Institute and serves on the Executive Board of the UCLA Center on Aging. He has a Doctorate in Psychology with specialization in Gerontology. He also has a Master’s Degree from the UCLA Graduate School of Education and a Master’s Degree in Business Management from Cal State Los Angeles.
He is past president of the Guardians of the Jewish Homes for the aging, served as president of Hillel Council for Greater Los Angeles, and is a recipient of the “Spirit of Life” award from the City of Hope.
Working with UCLA and various facilities for aging adults, he has encouraged learning through the lifespan. He taught courses on memory training through the UCLA Center on Aging. He taught guided autobiography and memoir writing at Westwood Horizons Assisted Living Residence and the Los Angeles Jewish Homes for the Aging.
