Dr. Allan Schore is on the clinical faculty of the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences, UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. His work in Regulation Theory focuses on the origin, psychopathogenesis, and psychotherapeutic treatment of the early forming subjective self. His studies on the interpersonal neurobiology of the right brain provide a model of the early structural and functional development of the human unconscious.

Dr. Schore is Editor of the acclaimed Norton Series on Interpersonal Neurobiology, and is on the editorial board or a reviewer of 37 journals across a number of scientific and clinical disciplines. He is the recipient of the American Psychological Association's Division of Psychoanalysis Scientific Award in Recognition of Outstanding Contributions to Research, Theory and Practice of Neuroscience and Psychoanalysis.
